Spoiler Alert

IMDB for some reason has "Spoiler Alert" written over its plot key words until you mouse over it. But most of the time it doesn't make any sense.

This is from a movie called Shades of Ray:

I don't know how either of those two phrases could possibly ruin the plot, so I went to look at Return of the Jedi to see what it said.



The Plot itself seems to ruin the plot, am I right, but then the keywords are blocked out again and when you mouse over it you get:




How do the words, "Rebel, Death Star, Empire, Jabba the Hutt, or Princess" ruin the plot of Return of the Jedi?

Just an annoying little thing that I thought I could complain about today.

Have you ever tried to figure out what Boba Fett's Grandmother's name was, Jango Fett's mother?

Mark and I decided to run a few names through:

Nick: I really want to play the new Star Wars game
Mark: What, the Old Republic?
Nick: yeah
Mark: I haven't seen any game play
Nick: Neither have I, but the video makes me what to try it, that is good advertising
Mark: Yeah, the trailer is awesome
Nick: I wonder if the bounty hunter is Marsha Fett, you know Boba's Grandmother and Jango's mother
Mark: hahahaha
Nick: I just assume her name was Marsha
Mark: or maybe Janice, Janice Fett
Nick: I like Janice too
Mark: Kimberly
Nick: Agnes Fett
Mark: ha, Susan
Nick: Dorothy Fett, This could go on forever
Mark: and it should, Samantha Fett
Nick: Sophie
Mark: Kitty Fett
Nick: Jessica Fett

A New Hope

A few things I noticed in watching Episode IV today.

1. If the Imperial Solider had just shot the escape pod down, containing R2D2 and C-3P0, then the events of IV, V, and VI would not have occurred. Do you think the Emperor or Darth Vader ever think about that? Do you think he and his superior officer were punished for not having shot it down?

2. Luke first ignites the light saber, in Obi Wan's hut, directly at Obi Wan. A few degrees more and it would have gone straight through Obi Wan thus negating any training he could have given Luke.
