It has become very apparent to me that there are a lot of people that work for my bank that don't know anything about the services they provide.

When I moved to Dubai I had issues setting up an international transfer so that I could deposit money into my foreign bank while I was there. This was mostly set up so that I could write checks for my car while I was there.

In addition, I also asked my bank about international type accounts so that I wouldn't have to open an account overseas. My bank told me that there weren't any products that they offered for expatriates or international accounts. Today I stumble upon an account service specifically for Expats.

Way to go bank, keep hiring stupid people and you will continue to lose money.
