The downside to owning a nice pair of sunglasses with glass lenses is that if the fall you will have problems. My Serengetis fell off my face yesterday and plumetted to the ground landing square in the middle of the lens on a sharp rock. I have to say that I have dropped these before and the frame has gotten a bit scratched up, but this is the first time I have had the lens itself chip.

Now when the sun hits my face it refracts through the chip and makes my eye go nuts. Anyway, I like the glasses so much that I am sending them into Serengeti to have the lenses replaced. That is pretty cool that they do that, but I won't know what the price is until they receive the glasses.

If it is too much, I might be buying a new pair. LAME
